Mystic Creek Golf Club Welcomes New General Manager

Mystic Creek Golf Club in El Dorado, Arkansas recently welcomed Kevin LaFontaine as its new general manager. LaFontaine will oversee golf operations, agronomy, food and beverage, and sales/marketing for the 18-hole semi – private / daily-fee facility, which Golfweek has named the “Best Course You Can Play in Arkansas.” LaFontaine has 20-plus years of experience in the golf industry.  He most recently served as general manager and director of agronomy at Calvert Crossing Golf Club, a Troon-managed private club in the West Ouachita Parish of Louisiana. Prior to Calvert Crossing, LaFontaine led operations at clubs in Mississippi and Alabama. 

Five Branson Golf Destination Courses Voted in Missouri’s Top 10 including Top Four

Golfweek recently released its annual “Best Courses by State” compilation and Ozarks National, Buffalo Ridge, Payne’s Valley, and Branson Hills ranked as Missouri’s top four courses in that order. A fifth Branson Golf destination course, LedgeStone, is Missouri’s No. 8 rated layout.
