The Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) has partnered with Jacobsen Ltd. to create the Advance Leadership Program to provide opportunities for golf course superintendents with less than five years of superintendent experience to become successful leaders in an ever-changing industry. Participants learn from educational sessions, resources and expertise designed to develop the next generation of leaders. The program combines practical management training, mentorship, and industry expertise to cultivate leaders who are prepared to excel at course operations and contribute to the long-term sustainability and advancement of the game and industry.

The PGA of America has opened registration for PGA VendorMatch, connecting local businesses with procurement opportunities supporting its 2027 spectator championships. Companies in and around host communities are invited to register for the opportunity to potentially meet with the PGA of America and its major suppliers. Local businesses can register here through May 27, 2026, to be considered for sourcing opportunities before, during, and after the championships. Opportunities span a wide range of Tier II goods and services, including food and beverage, florals, transportation, staffing, and more.

The American Golf Industry Coalition (AGIC) will highlight one of National Golf Day’s most meaningful traditions on Tuesday, May 5: community service projects that will take place across the National Mall and the Old Soldiers’ Home Golf Course, led by more than 200 industry volunteers, including representatives of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA). The American Golf Industry Coalition is a partnership among golf’s leading organizations working to collectively tell the story of golf’s contributions to the economy, health and wellness benefits, charitable giving, and environmental and sustainability initiatives. The coalition unites the industry in pursuit of goals designed to enhance the vitality of both the business and recreational levels of the sport.

This is the first playing of the Cadillac Championship, which is the fifth Signature Event of the 2026 PGA TOUR season. A no-cut, limited field of 72 players will compete for 700 FedExCup points and a $3.6 million winner’s prize from the $20 million purse. The Cadillac Championship will mark the 56th playing of a PGA TOUR event at the Blue Monster course at Trump National Doral, which previously hosted TOUR events from 1962 to 2016.
