GOLF.AI Inc. and Proshop Tee Times today announced a new partnership to help golf courses capture more bookings, respond faster to golfers, and strengthen pro shop operations. Troon Kicks Off 2026 Community Swing Series of Events

We’ve just finished sorting through the ’25 update on golf participation via our partnership with the National Sporting Goods Association (NSGA) and their annual survey of all-sports participation dating back to 1985.  Over the years we’ve developed and refined a series of transformations of their annual raw survey results for the sport of golf which then becomes our annual report on participation, play, play dynamics, demographics, involvement and churn.  The headline is that last year’s results are largely positive highlighted by a gain in participants (>1.5M golfers), an accelerated growth rate (+7%) and a generational shift (younger) taking some pressure off the Baby Boomers to carry the industry on their (aging) shoulders.

Jesse Droemer Captures One-Shot Victory at 2026 PGA Professional Championship

Jesse Droemer embraced the elements. With the Walter Hagen Cup and a start in the PGA Championship within reach, he expected Wednesday’s final round of the 2026 PGA Professional Championship to be difficult. Strong, brisk winds made Bandon Dunes an even greater challenge. Droemer (Houston, Texas) rose to the occasion, shooting a final-round 2-under-par 70 to finish at 4-under-par 283 and win by one. 

New Champions Emerge at PING USDGA Championship

Carson Lane was just hoping to win his category in Wednesday’s final round of the PING USDGA Championship presented by PGA of America.

He instead walked away with the men’s overall title, winning with a par on the fourth playoff hole, preventing Chad Pfeifer from winning his fourth consecutive title.
