Mountain Lake Begins Restoration Project to Its Historic Golf Course

Mountain Lake, a residential community located in central Florida’s lake district, has officially started the extensive restoration project of its Seth Raynor-designed golf course. The project, led by renowned course architect Tyler Rae, will focus on three main components: the reconstruction and redesign of the putting surfaces, design enhancements for every hole using archival photos and newly discovered historic information about the course, and the restoration and placement of bunkers.

Cal Poly Edges in Front with UC Davis in Pursuit after 36 Holes at 2026 Big West Women's Golf Championship

Cal Poly edged out to a two-stroke lead on moving day at the 2026 Big West Women's Golf Championship at the Kaanapali Golf Resort, using a steady round to overtake UC Davis in the team standings. Both freshmen in the Cal Poly lineup, Alex Flier and Maddy Saysanasongkham, notched an eagle on the day. Flier's came on the 359-yard Par 4 fourth hole, while Saysanasongkham recorded the eagle on the sixth hole of the day, a Par 5 measuring 440 yards. Tuesday's Championship round to determine The Big West's automatic qualifier into the NCAA Division I Women's Golf Regional field begins at 11 a.m. PT/8 a.m. HT with a split tee start.

Arccos Tour Ambassador Matt Fitzpatrick Wins 2026 RBC Heritage in Playoff Over World No. 1

Arccos Golf, the world’s largest on-course tracking system and leader in connected AI golf products, celebrated another landmark win for its Tour ambassador Matt Fitzpatrick at the 2026 RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. In one of the most dramatic finishes of the PGA TOUR season, Fitzpatrick defeated world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler in a playoff on Sunday, claiming his fourth PGA TOUR victory. The win is Fitzpatrick’s second in his last three starts and vaults him to a career-high No. 3 in the Official World Golf Rankings.
