Women’s Golf Day at PGA of America and Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa Continues to Shine as a Global Standout Event
Women’s Golf Day (WGD), in partnership with the PGA of America and Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa, proudly celebrated another extraordinary Women’s Golf Day event on May 29, reinforcing the power of collaboration, community, and the continued growth of women’s golf around the world.
Set against the world-class backdrop of PGA Frisco, the event has quickly become one of the shining gems within the global Women’s Golf Day portfolio — a premier example of what is possible when organizations unite with a shared purpose: creating welcoming and empowering experiences for women and girls through golf.
NGF Short Game: The Record Rise of Female Golf
When it comes to post-pandemic gains in recreational golf participation, women and girls have outpaced their male counterparts and accounted for a larger share of growth.
Over the past six years (from 2020 to 2025), there has been a 45% rise in the number of on-course female golfers. This participant pool has experienced a net gain of 2.5 million, bringing the total to more than 8.1 million, the highest count on record.
During that same six-year span, there’s been a corresponding 12% rise among the male golfer population – a net increase of 2.3 million players.
In total, women and girls have accounted for 52% of the net participation gains in green grass golf from 2020 to 2025.
Los Angeles Is Going Pink This June
This June, Fore All — the women’s golf brand redefining who belongs on the course — is taking over Los Angeles with its most ambitious activation yet. A Fore All pop-up on Melrose Avenue will serve as the exclusive in-person home of the new Barbie™ x Fore All collection for one week only. Simultaneously, at Riviera Country Club, Barbie and Fore All are co-hosting a VIP suite at Hole 14 during the U.S. Women’s Open — gathering the influencers, athletes, and women actively changing the game of golf. And connecting it all: a fully wrapped pink bus traveling Sunset Boulevard between Melrose and Riviera every day. Los Angeles has never seen women’s golf look like this.

NYC-Based Modern Menswear Brand, Mack Weldon, Taps Sports Broadcaster, Shane Bacon, to Co-Design a Limited Edition Performance Polo for Father’s Day
For Father’s Day 2026 — and, of course, U.S. Open weekend — Mack Weldon teams up with golf broadcaster, author, and dad Shane Bacon for “Growing the Game”: a campaign about the sincere joy (and tender challenge) of sharing something you love with your kids. Inspired by his new children’s book, The Golfer’s Zoo, the campaign offers a home video-style look at Shane and his two kids during a morning round and afternoon at home—riding carts, reading putts, pulling flags, and distractedly walking off to find Mom… All the while, Shane showcases the versatility of Mack Weldon’s timeless, modern styles—clothes that he can comfortably wear from the golf course, to the studio, to his living room couch.

Performance Golf RS1 Putter Review: Does Forward Axis Weighting Actually Work?
GolfGrade: The Performance Golf RS1 is one of the most genuinely innovative putters to hit the market in years. Designed by veteran club maker Chris McGinley — who has worked with 11 world # 1 players over three decades — the RS1 introduces Forward Axis Weighting, a physics-based approach to solving a problem that 95% of putters have been ignoring for 125 years: face drift.
Forgiving, Fast, and Stable: TaylorMade’s NEW Qi4D is SOLID // On-Course & In-Bay Review
Mitch took the new Qi4D LS out of the bay and onto the course to see if the numbers actually translate—and the results didn’t disappoint. From the first swings, the club speed just feels different. Fast, effortless, and explosive through impact. But what really stood out? The misses. Even when Mitch didn’t catch it perfectly, the ball stayed online—tight, controlled, and way more playable than you’d expect from a low-spin head.
Callaway Quantum Mini Driver Testing
True Spec Golf, the premium brand-agnostic club fitting company, took the Callaway Quantum Mini Driver straight into the bay to see what it can really do. Same head, two setups. Heavy weight back for stability and forgiveness, then flipped forward to chase speed and lower spin. Then it was put it to the real test… off the deck. Ball speed, launch, spin, versatility. Let’s see which setup actually wins.
